Another car you don't see around much these days...
The AZ600 was introduced in 1971 and was sold side by side with Honda motorcycles before Honda had stand alone automobile dealerships. The engine is a 598cc overhead cam, air cooled 2 cylinder that develops around 36 hp. 60 MPH came in a leisurely 26 seconds and its top speed was a claimed 75MPH. Gas mileage was around 40MPG. With a short wheelbase (78.7") and rack and pinion steering, it is said to handle very well.
Honda discontinued the 600 after 1972, when it introduced the Civic (CVCC) and opened dealerships dedicated to just Honda cars. The rest, of course, is history.
The car being offered on eBay is in good, but not perfect, condition. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and the interior is in very nice shape. The seller states that the radio does not work and that there are two small rust bubbles behind the rear wheel wells along with some dings on the hood and a small dent in the rear bumper.
Here's your chance to own a little piece of Japanese automotive history for the "Buy It Now" price of $7800.00.

Click here to see the "Honda 600 Roster of Owners" website. Their website claims they have "no dues, no membership fees, no rules or regulations"... That's my kind of car club!
