It's Back - My Old 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT

Ebay can be a great tool for selling a car... as long as the buyer pays for it.

Apparently, the high bidder on my old Alfetta GT didn't have the funds to buy the car, so now it's back on eBay.

I don't often post the same car twice, especially so soon after the first post, but since there's an emotional attachment to this car, I figured that it was OK to break my own rules.

As I mentioned in the first post, I sold this car to some guys in VT who said they were going to use it in hillclimbing events. It was sad to see it go, but I had this little scenario in my head of the Alfetta racing up the hill, blowing the doors off of Audi Quattros and Subaru WRXs. That idea made it a lot easier to part with.

It apparently never made it to the hillclimbing circuit and here it is, not appearing a whole lot different than it was when I pulled it out of my garage for the final time.

Here's to hoping it gets a new home and an appreciative new owner.
