1987 BMW M6 - A Quick Post

The seller writes, "This might be the nicest M6 available anywhere." That may not be just a sales pitch.

The E24 M6 was an amazing car when introduced. Even with a US emissions strangled engine and the added weight of 5 MPH bumpers, it got to 60 seconds in around 6.5 seconds. Produced for 7 model years, just over 1700 of the 5800 E24 M Coupes built made it to the US.

This is a stock M6. The only change made to the original car is a set of tasteful 17" wheels. It has just 40,000 miles on it and has had 2 owners. The light gray interior looks like new.

I love cars like this. It would be tempting to exchange the US bumpers for Euro ones and throw in a few engine mods, but there is something very cool about having an original car like this. I'd leave it as is.
