"Alfamino" - 1967 Alfa Giulia Pick-Up Conversion!

This is completely insane and I want it.

What we have here is a 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super that has been turned into a pick-up truck! OK, I know, there are some who will say it's a bit sacrilegious to turn a Giulia into a pick-up, but imagine the looks you'd get in this thing.

It appears that this car was together at one time, but is now under going restoration. It needs to be completed. The body has been finished, the drivetrain (a 2.0 with FI from a 1982 Spider) installed and the brakes are done. In order to make it a running car, you'll need to install the electrical system, headers and exhaust system, seats, bumpers, lights, door windows, trim and and mirrors. It appears that all the parts come with the car. It's nothing that couldn't be done at home, really.

All-in-all, this appears to be very well done.

I need more storage space...

Located in Atlanta, GA, click here to see the eBay listing. (The seller provides a link to his website where you can find more pictures of the car)

I saw this at Pocono about 10 years ago, being flogged at a PDA track day by a real Alfisti who also has(had?)a Montreal. I do not know who did the cut & shut, but it was hugely attractive then, even with a little of the usual rust.
