1969 Austin America

I love seeing stuff like this... This is an Austin America that someone has spent considerable time and money restoring.

I've written a number of times about my weird love of these cars. I've written about how I once owned one that suffered the wrath of god, or at least the stupidity one of his servants. It's a compulsion. There's probably some name for it, but I don't want to know what it is.

I'm going to fight my compulsion and not write about this one. I'm just going to point out the eBay listing.

Located in Windsor, CO, click here to see the listing.

Now I'll find another car and write a real post for today.

I've owned not only one of these, but it's twin-by-a-different-mother, the MG1300 sedan, which is the same car with a different hood on it.
The were fun, and I actually made money on them, despite English Engineering (Why use one part when five will do the same job) and electrical (Lucas Electric, Prince of Darkness)
