1975 Lancia Beta HPE - Back In (Flat) Black

Just a quick post today.

This is not one of the best ads I've ever seen, but this is a very cool car.

The HPE had the floorpan and wheelbase of the Beta sedan, the nose of the coupe and a unique station wagon style back end. It's an attractive and practical car.

This one is not so attractive. Someone painted it flat black. It was originally brown. Given the Beta's well documented problems with rust, this car should be checked thoroughly for badly done rust repair.

The good news is that the interior is in very respectable condition and the engine turns over.

If the flat black paint isn't hiding a ton of Bondo, this might be a nice winter project.

Located in Emeryville, CA, click here to see the eBay listing.

Lancia HPEs are super rare and super cool, this one is a little rough but I'm sure it wouldn't take much to make it a driver.....Just gotta sell my Maestro and I might be in the market for something like this
