VW Meyers Manx SR

This car was produced by the B.F. Meyers Company, the same company that produced the famous Meyers Manx dune buggy kit.

SR stood for Street Roadster and this was Myer's attempt at a car that was more for the street than the sand.

Like the Manx dune buggy, the Manx SR sits on a modified VW chassis. It uses a VW aircooled engine.

The seller says this car has been in storage for 4 years and "need to be freshened up", but it starts, runs and stops.

If you're looking for something very unique, but with easy to find and cheap mechanical components, this may be worth checking out.

Located in Kings Park, NY, click here to see the Craigslist ad.

The seller includes a link to a Photobucket album with 34 pictures. You can find it here.

I wrote about another Manx SR back in April, 2009. That post includes a few links to Manx sites. You can find the post here.
