Like most older cars, Coupe GTs do have some problems. Most are electrical in nature. This one has non-working windows, which is very, very common on older Audis. The digital display in the dash is also not working on this car (again, common) and it has a cracked windshield. If you want it to be perfect, you'll need to deal with a few cosmetic issues, too.
Parts, because it shares so many with other Audis and VWs, are fairly easy to find. This is a car that, if it were closer to me, I'd bid on and use as my daily driver.
Located in Denver, CO, click here to see the eBay listing.OK, this is a nice car that will most likely make someone very happy. But, that's not the only reason I posted it.
In reading the seller's description, I saw this paragraph...
"Having reached the young age of 65 last year, I am looking forward to retiring in 2012 and have decided reduce my collection of 35-40 cars down to a few to enjoy and have fun driving during my retirement. PLEASE CHECKOUT MY OTHER AUCTION'S, AS I WILL BE LISTING MORE EACH WEEK."
Take a look at some of the cars behind the Audi. There are quite a few interesting cars in various states of repair and disrepair, including the Jeepster below.
This guy's auctions may be worth following.

Unfortunate about the auto trans. Would go from cool car to must have with a manual. Looks to be in pretty nice shape - seems like most of these older Audis have escaped the boy-racer treatment which is refreshing.
