An Odd Collection (Or Not) For The Weekend

I'm not quite sure what we have here. A quick search shows some of these cars at some place called Haggle Me in Michigan. (Which, now also seems to have the V6 Alfa Romeo Alfetta I posted a few weeks ago, complete with the same pictures.) A scam? Or is a 67 year old man really selling off his collection of cars? I have no idea. I'm just posting this because it's an interesting collection of cars...

1974 Corvette Station Wagon - A number of companies built Corvette "station wagons," or wagon kits. Some looked pretty nice. This one, not so much. Still, this car will start a lot of conversations.

1974 V8 Fiat 124 Spyder - Like the Corvette station wagon, this will start a lot of conversations. Many will start with the words, "What the f..." This car also appears in an eBay classified ad.

1980 Fiberfab Jamaican Coupe - This car, with this picture, appeared in a Hooniverse post a couple of years ago. It was for sale back then.

Fiberfab was a kit car manufacturer. The Jamaican could supposedly be fitted to a TR3, TR4, MGA, Austin-Healey or a Volkswagen Beetle chassis. This one is on a VW chassis.

1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass - This car doesn't seem to show up anywhere else. It supposedly has the 442 package. (The 442 didn't become a separate model until 1968.) Classic American muscle.

19?? Ventura - The seller doesn't mention this car, he just shows a picture. This one really intrigues me. I've seen them before (but never "in the flesh") and thought they were great looking cars.

The Ventura was built in Brazil and uses air-cooled VW running gear. In the early 1980s, Fabrica L'Automobile, the company who built these, tried, and possibly succeeded, in selling a few of these in the US. (I remember reading that they were sold in the US as a "kit," but it was essentially a complete car.) The concept was similar to that of the Puma. But, where the Puma was a fairly well built car, the Ventura's build quality apparently left a lot to be desired. Still, I would love to own one if I could find one cheap.

There are 10 more cars in the ad, including kit cars, an Avanti, a Mercedes, an Acadia and more.

Not sure where these cars are located, but you can see the Craigslist ad here.
