Weekend Quickies

1972 Pantera - When I was a kid a neighbor had a Pantera identical (at least in color) to this one. I remember thinking that it was one the coolest cars I had ever seen. I still think that today.

This Pantera is a stock 23,000 mile car. I'd buy this in a heartbeat. (If I only had that bigger bank account balance and driveway I fantasize about.)

1987 Alfa Romeo Milano - As I've mentioned in other posts, of all the cars I've owned, the one that was my favorite, the one I miss the most, was my Alfa Romeo Milano. It just did everything right.

The car for sale on eBay is a 21,000 mile car, that, if I understand the seller correctly, has spent most of its life in Florida and New Mexico (where it is now).
You have no idea how tempted I am to bid on this car.

Below is a picture of my Milano, taken in 1989 at some Lime Rock Park event. (The picture has been in a box for the past 15 or so years. The dust now seems to be embedded in it. Sorry 'bout that! Check out the nose of the Cosworth Vega in front of it and the race prepped MGA off to its right side.)....

1957 Mercedes 190SL Race / Rally Car - Street Legal - I love seeing old cars like this being used as SCCA racers. According to the seller, this car is also street legal. Check out his listing for details and a link to more pictures.

Located in Arizona, click here to see the Craigslist listing.
1976 BMW 2002 - Some cars are just done "right". This is one of those cars. There's not a whole lot I can say about this car other than I really like what the guy did to it. It's another car I would buy if I had a bigger driveway.

Located in Winston-Salem, NC, click here to see the Craigslist listing for this 1976 BMW 2002.
