I'm always psyched when I find a new car blog or a new car site. I'm especially psyched about Grey In The USA...
First of all, I'm fascinated by grey market (or "gray" market - I have yet to figure out which spelling is correct - Not that it matters to me, as you can tell from my writing) cars. The grey market fills a niche for people who want to have something different, in many cases something better, than the cars the automakers offer here in the US. Grey market cars are for enthusiasts, not the average person.
Secondly, this blog is written by a Just a Car Geek reader. Take a look at the comments section of this blog. You'll see a number of posts by a man calling himself "Hoov". They are always well written, intelligent, insightful posts. Hoov applies those same traits to his blog.
I'm a little envious of Hoov. As I mentioned in a recent post, I look at the first few months of Just A Car Geek and cringe. It was awful. Grey In The USA has been great from the beginning. The selection of cars (Lotus, Citroen, Land Rover and more) has been great, the blog is well laid out and, as I said, Hoov's writing style is insightful and intelligent.
Bookmark Grey In The USA and check it often. It's well worth reading.

Hey man, thanks for the mention. I've been reading JaCG since close to the beginning, and I think it's evolved into a very efficient and informative format that's fun to read and not overloaded. If mine looks polished from the start, that's why. I think of it as being in a similar style but with a slightly different subject matter.
RE: Grey vs. Gray. I thought about it. Went with grey ;)
