The car being offered on eBay is a claimed 56,000 mile car. The seller calls it an "original, unmolested, museum piece". It's being offered on eBay with no reserve.
Personally, I'd prefer it to be red (hey, it's Italian), but if this car is everything the seller says it is, blue wouldn't be too tough to live with.

You can find an earlier Beta Zagato post here.

This one must be one of the last ones brought into the US before Lancia pulled out in 1982. I do not remember seeing them with the updated grille that this one has. Personally, my favorite is the 'special edition' black and gold which seems tht half of them that came to the US were painted. But I do love the pastelish blue color of this one...very early 80's-ish.
And speaking of Zagato's, the mid-80's John Lithgow movie My Science Project has one driving around a lot towards the end of the movie. Every time it's on TV, I look out for the scenes...yeah, I'm a geek
This car with the EFI 2-liter is supposed to be far more enjoyable than my carbed 1800 in stock form... I'd love to try one someday.
I think chevy chase also drove one in modern problems. I hav owned the 1800 beta at about 80-85 hp and a 2000 82 zagato with just shy of 110 hp The beta was a fair amount faster I would assome due to weight. I loved them both but found replacing the timing belt much more involved then in the 2000spider (in this powder blue) I still love the cars after all these years
