The car needs complete restoration, but the seller says that except for some rust around the wheel wells, it's a solid car. All of the hard to find trim appears to still be with the car. The seller also states that it starts and runs.
This is not the fastest car you could buy, but it's a cool alternative to a similar vintage British or Italian roadster.

Techno Jeep - These folks used the noises from a Jeep Cherokee to make a credible Techno track...
1978 Holden Torana LX Hatch - These cars are legendary in Australia. HoldenTorana.com is very good website dedicated to the car and provides some comprehensive history of the car.

You can find the eBay listing here.
The car is interesting, but needs a bit more work than I'd want to put into it. That's not why I'm pointing out, though. The Torana had an interesting option called the "Hatch Hutch". Essentially, it turned the back of the car into a mini camper.
Below is an 8 minute commercial for the Torana. It's a great piece of cheesy 1970s advertising. Towards the end it features the "Hatch Hutch". I found it amusing the the actress asks "Are you ready for bed?" even though it was still daytime. Just what was Holden selling here?

Hey Dave,
If the weekend is going slow...
Here are roughly 7 pages (each with tons of photos) of classic Citroen CX weirdness.
By the way, a lot look like those bizarre 6 wheeled Olds Toronados from the 60's.
Jonathan
The weekend wasn't going slow, but of course I had to check it out and then spent a good amount of what should have been "sleep time" looking at it.
It's just what Jon said it is. It's 7 pages of pictures of every possible custom job and variation of the Citroen CX. It's insane what people do to these cars. Citroen weirdness, indeed.
