A Really Interesting Collection of Cars...

All of these cars are being sold by the same person. This is a really interesting collection of cars.

There's not a whole lot I can write about each car as the seller says he's selling them for a friend and leaves little or no information in the eBay listings. I'm just going to post a picture and a link to each car...

1. 1970 Citroen DS 21 Pallas

2. 1973 Citroen SM

3.1962 Renault Dauphine Gordini - There is a mention of something about "10 miles" in this listing. I can't imagine that this car has just 10 miles on it...

4. 1954 Fiat Topolino

5. 1956 Citroen 2CV Rally Car - The seller says this car "achieved 2nd place on the around the world race and 1st in its class on the London to Cape Town race".

6. 1966 Citroen Truckett

7. 1953 Gutbrod Superior - This was really interesting to me as until tonight I was unfamiliar with Gutbrod cars.

All of these cars are located in Chicago, IL.

A huge thanks to JaCG reader, Sean, for pointing out this collection to me!

Interesting car collection to say the least but a real half a**ed Ebay listing by the seller. These cars are begging for more information and in the case of the 2CV for example, we have 1956 AND 1966 as the car's year even though it states that it has a Citroen Visa engine which was made in the late 70's and 80's. Plus the taillights are from the later models from that same era as the Visa. Not sure what to make of it

I saw these listings all over eBay last night. Horrible listings. The cars are arbitrarily prices at $15k, $20k, $25K. They all appear to be in good condition, but look to have been unused/stored for a period of time. The only one I may have seen in person is the Fiat Topolino at a local car show, but it may have been a different car. They are all out of my price range, but I am almost tempted to call the owner and ask to inspect the cars and get some more info. Cool collection that really has not been shown locally.

Yeah, I saw those listings on eBay Sunday night and I had a feeling they'd end up here eventually, but given it was lasted here and on Bring A Trailer, some sales may actually be made, despite the poor quality of the listings.
