1984 Toyota Corolla Diesel - I Had No Idea...

1984 Toyota Corolla Diesel - A Toyota Corolla diesel? I had no idea such a thing once existed. (I have to admit that I don't spend a lot of time looking at Corollas or diesels.)

I suspect it's pretty economical, but slow and not much fun to drive (especially with an automatic).

This one doesn't run. (Making it even more economical and most likely not much slower than a running one.) The engine is shinier than the body.

I can't find a good reason to recommend this car to anyone, I'm just pointing it out.

Located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, click here to see the eBay listing.

I didn't think any of the old GM diesels were still around!

Yes this car is well worth it. I would suggest if you can afford to, buy this car and fix it up. I have one paid $1800 put $300 into it. IT RUNS GREAT! Pay attention to the dummie lights if you buy it. I could have saved some money. anyway...great car 45 miles per gallen. Don't forget diesel.

My aunt and uncle had one of these in 1984. It was purchased brand new. They had multiple problems with it within the first year. It was undriveable and at the Toyota dealer most of the time they had it. It was crazy.
