A little over 300 Acecas were built between 1954 and 1963. Most came with one of two engines; an AC engine, which was designed in 1919, or a 125 HP Bristol engine. However, towards the end of its run, AC built 8 with a Ford 2553cc engine.

Quite a bit of work has been done to this car, including converting it to left-hand drive, but quite a bit of work still needs to be done. The engine, which was rebuilt in the 1980s, is, as the seller describes it, "pickled" but "not seized". The body has some dents and dings and the interior needs to be reinstalled. It looks like most, if not all, of the original parts - except the Bristol engine - are still with the car.
