Really, I can call the entire line of E28s "no nonsense cars." They're good looking, well put together, fun to drive and, with routine maintenance, will last a very, very long time.

This is an incredible 528e. It has just 22,000 miles on it. That works out to just about 846 miles per year. I have friends who put more miles on their car in a week just commuting to work.

If all things were equal, I'd choose a 535i as my daily driver. However, if low mileage and like-new condition were what I was looking for, I'd buy this car in a heartbeat. As the seller says, "this is most likely the most pristine low mile E28 5 series on the planet."

A big thanks to the reader who sent me this. Unfortunately, he or she didn't leave their name.

Very nice and certainly a very driveable classic. I have an even slower 524td. Even with almost 250k miles it is ultra reliable and still looks / drives great. Parts are easy to find and not terribly expensive. Easy car to work on for the shade tree mechanic. Would take this over a new toyondaai appliance any day.
That car has been floating around the internet for a little while now, I believe its a fake.
