Nope. It turns out that Subaru continued selling them in Canada for one more year.
The owner is trying to finance his dream of becoming a professional race car driver by selling this car.
This is a poor eBay ad. There is just one picture of the car and a lot of talk about the sellers racing dreams. There is a list of some routine maintenance performed on the car in the past 6 months.
The opening bid is $5000.00 and there is reserve, which hasn't been met. If you buy this car you become a sponsor of the seller's racing team. Being as rare as this car is - and the shape it's in, which appears to be original and very good, with some slight rust - I'm not sure what it's worth. However, I know it's not worth enough to finance a Formula 1 / Indy car racing team. (LeMons, maybe.) My gut is telling me that the reserve price of this car might be ridiculous, bordering on insane.
It's a cool, unusual car. I would love to see more pics, have more info and a Buy It Now price. Without those, I can't write much about this car. I'm just passing it along because maybe you, like me, had no idea a 1995 North American spec Subaru Justy existed.

You are right. This is a great little car, the year is unusual and I've got a thing for the 4x4 Justy. Still, it's a lot of scratch for a 19 year old car that, brand new was only about $10k.
Not sure why these would be anything more than $1,500 dollar used cars. What am I missing?
My daily driver is now a '93 Justy, 5spd, FWD.
It is shockingly fun to drive. About 1800 lbs, combined with ridiculously low gearing makes for quick starts and fun bouncing through traffic.
